Reporting to the Director of Information Architecture, the Documentation Specialist is responsible for creating, editing and managing various documents in collaboration with the Strategy team. This role within the Strategy Domain leverages the Documentation Specialist’s skills at compiling strategic recommendations into structured client-facing documents. Responsibilities:

  • Edit strategy and IA documents prior to publishing to ensure consistent use of vocabulary, grammar and punctuation. Provide feedback to document authors to improve future deliverables.

  • Coordinate publishing strategy and IA documents via the client extranet as needed.

  • Assist strategy team members with other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Writing, Information Design, English or another related field. Required Experience:
  • 3-5 years of document design, technical writing or business analysis (intranet and internet experience a plus).
  • Excellent technical writing skills and ability to adequately document all details and variations of the user experience.
  • Strong interpersonal (conflict resolution, active listening, constructive feedback, etc.), oral presentation, and negotiation skills are a must. Ability to operate and communicate effectively while under pressure is essential.
  • Evidence of strong organizational, associative and conceptual thinking skills.
